Re: Scroll text with values gathered from input pins?

Scrolling variables is no problem, as shown above.

You can combine text and numbers by following a scroll of static text with another scroll of a numeric value.

Re: Error when tethering CodeBug to a Pi

I don't know, It's not something I've tried, but have you enabled i2c, which I think Codebug tethering uses. You can do that from raspi-config or edit the blacklist.

Re: Digital input problem

I see the same thing. You seem to be doing it right. I think it's a bug.
I find that read analog input works, so that could be a work-around for you. Configure the input as analog and use read analog.

Re: Do NOT power CodeBug using its legs and Micro USB at the same time?

I have powered a codebug by the legs and cone ted t USB and nothing bad happened, but clearly, since there is a warning, there is a risk. The safe option is to disconnect power from the 5V / GND legs when programming with USB. After programming completes disconnect USB and reconnect leg power. Power...

Re: A whole new MUSIC section of blocks !

Ah, good move. Have you tried it on a bug?
The beats(ms) value block seems to be either an integer ms value or a fraction of the bpm tempo. If I put a 1000 number value in there it seems to play a 1 second note irrespective of the bpm value.

Re: leg in/outs damaged?

You need to set the legs to output in the Start block.

Re: talk to I2C sensor from Codebug

I don't know if it's possible now. It should be technically possible, but as you say, there is program block support. I suspect there will be no general purpose i2c support. As we saw with glowbugs extra blocks may be added to support official add-ons.

Re: Issues with Sleep Mode

A Codebug with a battery will wake up where it went to sleep and carry on. Make sure your program runs a loop to take you back to the beginning. Wake from sleep does not reset to the start of your program.
Removing the battery, or unplugging from USB power without battery will reset to the beginning.

Re: USB Device Not Recognized

I had this symptom due to a faulty USB cable. It was working fine, then it wasn't. Changing the cable cured the problem.
